The Acolyte and Mic Angel schedule is available on the bulletin board outside the Youth office.
Attention Parents: Don't forget to pick up your copy of the January Parent Page. They are available on the tables in the narthex and on the Youth bulletin board.
SOUPER BOWL of Caring is February 5 this year. The youth are asking you to bring in crackers next week. On February 5 the youth will be collecting monetary donations after church. All proceeds go to the AGAPE food pantry to help those within our community.
The GUMY Super Bowl party will be at the Scarth house this year. YEAH!! Sign up sheet for food and permission slip to ride the bus is on the bulletin board outside the Youth office.
Chili and Pie Cook-off is Saturday, February 11. Have you been told that your chili or pie is the best? Are you ready to put them to the test? Sign up to be judged with the rest of the "best."
Hey You!!
Yes, you there in the 3rd through 12th grade. Want to help out during the service? Read the stuff below and talk to Karen.
Mic Angel: Would you like to help everyone hear the announcements, praises and prayers on Sunday morning? If you are in at least 3rd grade you can be a Mic Angel.
Acolyte: Yolu've seen those wonderful people in the white robes. Well, they are Acolytes. They help light the candles before the service and put them out at the end. They help Pastor Johnny with the offering plates and any other time he needs their assistance. You must have completed Confirmation class to be an Acolyte.
Scripture Reader: If you can read the Bible you can be a Scripture Reader. What better way to serve the Lord than to share His word with others!
Gift Cards
The holidays are coming. Don't forget that you can order just about any type of gift card from the youth. There is a current list on the board outside the Youth Office. Some can be ordered via the internet and be available to you within an hour or less! Any questions, contact Karen Scarth at 722-2541 or 404-3702.
Here are a few ideas: Meijer, Kohl's, Lowe's, Sears, Home Depot, Walgreens, Kroger, Sam's Club, Applebee's, O'Charley's, Wendy's, Bob Evans, Burger King, Domino's Pizza, Subwa, Papa John's, Starbucks, or Cracker Barrel.
