Serve

Ushers help people find their way.  It could be to a seat for service, the nursery, the church office, a classroom, or the restroom.  Ushers also help pass the collection plates each week.

A Greeter is usually the first person someone meets as they enter the church.  Greeters help people into the church; they hold the door, help them with their coat or other items and hand out the bulletins.

Help Pastor Johnny deliver communion to the congregation on the first Sunday of each month.

Scripture Readers do just that; read the Word of God during each service.  Time is given for each reader to prepare as needed.

Deliver an age appropriate (ages under 6) brief message to the children by telling a story or demonstration.  Just another way to spread the word of God to our future leaders.

If you aren't comfortable teaching a Sunday School class you could volunteer to be a helper.  The help would be much appreciated.

Do you love to sing?  Come join the Choir.  The Choir meets on Thursday nights for practice and performs during Sunday morning services.  The Choir is a great way to get to know others in the church.

Do you play an instrument?  Do you like to sing?  Join the Praise Band and help "Rock This PLace For Jesus!"

Acolytes light the candles before the service and put them out at the end.  They help Pastor Johnny with the offering plates and any other time he needs their assistance.  You must complete Confirmation class to be an Acolyte.

The Mic Angel helps to share the microphone during Praise and Worship Time and at other times (when necessary) during the service.
